DSCN0967.JPG
Standing on the dolomite formation above the Swedish Cabin, one can see the cabin, Creek Road, and Darby Creek beyond. The cabin is build on the exposed ledge of this rock, down by the creek.

DSCN0966.JPG
This protrusion of dolomite extends down to the creek, and the cabin was deliberately built on areas where the rock is exposed in the valley below.
Parts of this rock have been cut and used to either build or restore the Swedish Cabin.

DSCN0972.JPG
This is the wall to the immediate right of the main entrance of the cabin. Items on the wall were installed by members of the Friends of the Swedish Cabin for interpretation and fundraising (t-shirts for sale) for this house museum.
