Dublin Core
Title
Water diverted from the Swedish Cabin
Subject
Rain gutters and top logs of the Swedish Cabin
Description
This short clip looks at how modern caretakers have restored the cabin so water is effectively diverted from the structure.
Most of the logs seen in this short clip are original to the cabin, and others have been replaced over time. The distinctive "V" notch of these logs represents a style that came from Varmland, Sweden by Forest Finns who emigrated to New Sweden in the mid 17th century as colonists.
